Welcome to Vermont Brick Manufacturing located in Northwestern Champlain Valley, Lake Champlain, Vermont. Vermont Brick Manufacturing was founded in 1996 and represents the first "Micro-Brick Plant" to be constructed in the State of Vermont in 30 years.  We are the first manufacturer of traditional molded "Waterstruck" Brick in the state in over 75 years.

 

Waterstruck brick is known throughout the architectural community as the real thing
(see specification). It is absolutely authentic rather than a simulation of the past. Vermont Brick Manufacturing’s architectural product line of face and paving brick continues to be used extensively in the Northeastern United States and Canada. For their 25th anniversary project, This Old House brought the best talent in architecture, construction, and design to restore and create a truly extraordinary home in Carlisle, MA. Vermont's authentic waterstruck brick was selected for the Jonathan Bradford Heald farmhouse built in 1849. Profits from the sale will fund a scholarship for young people pursuing careers in the building arts.
